I'm Hernán R., a Systems Engineer based in Maturín, Venezuela, with eight years designing and operating live streaming and real-time media platforms, backend services, and Linux server infrastructure. I've worked with RTMP and WebRTC delivery, media server operations, clustering, and performance monitoring, and I usually own the full lifecycle: architecture, implementation, deployment, and incident response.
Live streaming platform for sports events: low-latency broadcasts, customizable real-time scoreboards, a game clock synced across every viewer, and multistreaming from a single OBS/vMix RTMP feed to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, or custom RTMP destinations.
Car maintenance and expense tracker for individuals, families, and fleets: mileage- and time-based reminders, per-part history and health score, expenses in USD or VES at the official BCV rate, tire tracking, family roles, and Excel/PDF reports.
PSeInt interpreter compiled to WebAssembly with Emscripten, running entirely in the browser with a Monaco-based editor.

Developed and operated a multi-tenant live video streaming platform, sustained in production over multiple years.
Experience with live video streaming technologies such as WebRTC and RTMP to build real-time applications (multi-user chat, streaming).
Implemented custom live-video business logic: RTMP ingest with custom authentication, transcoding, clustering, and real-time streaming performance monitoring.

Experience building containerized services, APIs and microservices that expose observability metrics and health checks and are deployed to production environments.

Experience administering Linux servers, containerizing services, and building CI/CD pipelines. Familiar with infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible for automating server provisioning and configuration.
Experience with self-hosted Jenkins on Windows Server environments and VMware Workstation virtualization to deploy applications on Linux servers under a Windows host.
